November 14, 2018, Langley, BC – Gateway Casinos & Entertainment (Gateway) is pleased to unveil the first phase of its multi-million-dollar renovation and expansion of Cascades Casino Resort Langley. The official re-opening of the hotel & convention centre to unveil a brand-new look and feel for the space – making the property a full-service casino resort and a strong leader in the local tourism and events market.

The sizeable renovation of the 26,000-foot convention centre at Cascades Casino Resort has seen it transformed with new décor featuring refreshing navy and light blues, greens and whites, all new carpets, wall coverings, and fit and finishes.

“The refresh of the hotel & convention centre is part of the spectacular $18.6 million renovation that will allow us to attract both gamers and entertainment seekers by providing them with everything they need under one roof for a great visit. From versatile convention spaces and luxurious hotel rooms, to an array of dining options and live entertainment in Match Eatery & Public House, it really sets us apart in the Langley region,” said Ray MacNeil, Vice President Operations, BC East.

Arriving in the convention centre via escalators with bespoke feature lights overhead, the lobby serves as the perfect pre-function space, transitioning seamlessly into the rest of the area. With the ability to host everything from intimate gatherings to a large convention or a gala ball with up to 1000 guests, the convention centre is completely adaptable depending on the needs of the client, offering a Ballroom, five meeting rooms and an executive boardroom all fully equipped with brand new state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, high speed internet access and live music capabilities.

The design has translated to all 77 rooms and public spaces of the adjoining Coast Hotel, providing a fresh and welcoming feel to the hotel with each room fully equipped with 40-inch HD TVs, free Wi-Fi, in-room Starbucks, mini fridges and large desk space. Guests looking to unwind are encouraged to book into Spa Tru, a luxury medical spa offering a range of treatments and procedures, conveniently located behind the hotel lobby.

“Our continued investment in our properties shows our commitment to the community and our dedication to improving the customer experience through exceptional dining and entertainment amenities. With the opening of Atlas Steak + Fish next year, we are excited to bring a restaurant of this calibre to the residents of Langley and tourists alike. Boasting globally inspired cuisine created with local ingredients, and exquisite service, Atlas will be the next exciting chapter to be unveiled at Cascades,” said MacNeil.
